From Dan:

It’s official. I joined the Air Force today. Basic [training] after August 14^th.

He’s been thinking about going for awhile now, and he took the test weeks ago. Today, he finally found out that he’s in. We’re not sure what we’ll do. If I take over bass, Dan says he’ll let me use his equipment. We’ll probably talk things over this weekend at practice.

Update 5/9/07: Dan will be leaving on September 25^th for basic training at Lackland AFB in Texas.
